We are excited and honored to be a recipient of San Diego Home and Garden’s 26th annual “Kitchen of the Year” awards for Lauren Essex’s Del Mar kitchen. The project’s success is a true testament to the kind of transformation that can be achieved with an amazing client, a promising space, and a shared vision.

Lauren approached us with enthusiasm and an open mind. She was experiencing some major life changes and wanted to enhance her new lifestyle with a kitchen remodel. It was a great fit from the start; Lauren was able to share what wasn’t working with current home and together, we were able to create her dream kitchen. Together, we reviewed the ideas and samples, and chose the best solutions to satisfy her desires for appearance and functionality.

The kitchen remodel became a home and lifestyle transformation! We expanded the space and made it more functional for cooking, entertainment and hosting parties, updating the style using long lasting materials with contemporary, natural fixtures for fit and finish. We added a hidden laundry and mudroom along with more closet space, brightening the atmosphere with more fresh air and  beautiful natural light. From the eating area, the backyard is now visible and integrated through large panel slider.
