A San Diego Kitchen Remodel
This newly remodeled Modern Rustic Hacienda kitchen offers a space for a young family to enjoy. Equipped with a modern island, wood cabinets, handmade tiles, marble counters and clean details. With every San Diego kitchen remodel, we consider outdoor spaces as well. With views and access to the backyard, the family can live and entertain just as they wish.

V I S I O N
The vision was to create a perfectly harmonious blend of modern with historic. Inspiration was a larger Mediterranean tiles from behind the hood and partial open concept kitchen.
Before and After
KITCHEN
BEFORE
The original kitchen was dark, cramped and dated. This bustling family was looking for better flow and a comfortable and attractive space to be together.
AFTER
The kitchen was expanded into unused patio space from the large back yard. Custom cabinetry on the perimeter provides ample storage and counter space. An island anchors the large room and provides a sensible flow. A custom built-in banquet offers a cozy corner to dine.

The final result
Thoughtful details such as a blue herringbone patterned ceramic tile, strategically placed accent lighting and a locally milled, live-edge bar top accentuate this inviting and functional kitchen.
